TT600 errors, including TT600, TT601, TT602, TT603, AND TT604, are typically validation errors. This means you may have entered something into your return that TurboTax cannot understand or has not been programmed to accept.
The most common example is:
Quotation marks, ampersands and other special characters in any fields that accept text, such as your name, address, your dependant’s names, etc.
Note: If you are receiving an error code 603 in the TurboTax CD/download edition, you may have activated the software using an external drive (CD OR DVD), a pen drive (GB external memory) or an external hard disk drive that is connected to your machine. This usually happens when you have exceeded the activation limit (the limit is ONE license for THREE machines).
