谁帮我扫盲一下，GST

自雇的人，5%的GST要交给政府，那么这个GST年底会不会有退税什么的？或者像所得税一样，可以用车子啊，电话费啊什么的抵扣？

who said "自雇的人，5%的GST要交给政府"? when your income > 3W, you collect GST, otherwise you don't have to (you may if you want to)

那如果我collect了GST，年底我能不能 deduct啊？我有车子，交通费，服装费，饭钱等等，都等着要deduct呢。或者看我收入一般般，会不会都退给我啊？

GST is on top of your sale price ok? It's paid by your clients, not you. You are just a collector collecting tax for the federal government. It's not your money.

你如果PAY 的比COLLECT 的多，可以退给你的。

我有个朋友跟我说，他们经常碰到不愿意给税的，最后他们搞了个牌子，上面写着：

We don`t charge tax,
We just collect them !
