软件测试的工作好找吗？
各位大侠，什么样的IT工作好找啊？ 以前在国内做过项目监控和质量审核工作，也做过需求分析和项目测试。现在一头雾水，不知道什么样的工作好找一些？ 有正在做测试的朋友，或者对公司里测试工作比较熟悉的朋友吗？ 我想做软件测试方面的工作，不知道从哪里开始着手去找，技术上要求怎样？谢谢大家！ |

It doesn't matter much what season is better
to look for an IT job. What matters most is overall market, yes, MARKET, MARKET, MARKET. There are lots of testing jobs out there. But when it comes to job hunting, it varies case by case. Wish you best luck. |

上次一个rolia上的人问了我一些QA的找工问题，share给你吧
问： 你好！谢谢你给我提供了那么多关于QA的网址给我，我会去认真看的。在我提问的那个贴子里，有好多的好心朋友给了我不同的建议。说句老实话，我还真分辩不清哪个是正确的，哪个是有偏见的。从你的字里行间能感觉出来，你一定是个QA，对吗？这种工作真的是‘NETWORKING比技术重要，技术含量低’？我还看到有网友说：他们公司缺个QA，可招了好久也没招到合适的，面试了几个都不行，至今位置还空着;这些话，在你看来如何理解呢？是QA理论不足，还是会的计算机语言少，还是没有他们需要的开发经验，还是什么？我都不如何下手分析了，现在自己真的是‘茫茫然’ 答： networking只不过是一种找工作的有效方法，和QA无关，apply to所有工作。QA也分几个层次的，这里的QA还有行业之分。有些qa工作需要有行业背景，才能够竞争得过别人，我以前的背景都是软件开发公司的，所以软件公司的QA职位对我来说比较容易拿下。但是也看具体的职位描述，每个职位的要求不同。这里其实有很多财务集团，财务软件公司，都需要有财务开发方面的背景的。有些公司的软件不是很难测，所以要求也比较低，对于没有QA经验的人来说比较容易进。有些公司的qa职位要求比较高，工资也高，有些公司qa的要求低，工资也低。我有很多年的QA经验，但是我有个rolia的朋友在bmo做，帮我递交了resume,但是我连个面世也没有，因为我没有mainframe经验。但是这并不是说明我没有其他机会。所以，你要多发resume，看job description多改resume，当然牛不能吹得过火。然后看市场的反应，看你应该朝哪个方向多努力。 去rolia.net上查一查qa tester上面也有不少讨论，希望你有用。我以前在这里也post了不少link，你自己往前面查。 http://fh.rolia.net/f0/c1050/all/page/218.html |

技术上需要准备哪些？
谢谢Harlem,Steven,Tracyd的回复和鼓励！我这就找找以往Tracyd的帖子和rolia上大家的讨论。 另外问个问题,我以往的测试经验多是对应用系统如OA、E－government和财务管理等软件的功能测试。另外比较熟悉windows操作系统管理，和SQL Server数据库（MCSE、MCDBA证书）。编程上简单用过PB、VB和C，不过很长时间没用了。有些担心自己的技术，请各位指点一下，如果想找QA的工作，技术上我现在该准备点什么，或者再学习点什么吗？ 再次感谢！

英文最重要，不是你托弗考了600分，那个没用。口语交流! 熟悉标准的QA工作流程，结合自己以前的工作经验来回答面世。包括build的流程，bug的流程，和软件开发的整个流程，QA应当担任的职责。如何和其他部门的人员合作交流也是很重要的。SQL和oracle在这里还是比较流行的。有些需要unix平台的背景，有些不需要。对国内政府部门和财务的软件funtion的了解，在这里没用。我没做过财务软件的测试，但是我知道这里银行和财务系统和国内有很大的不同。具体如何的如何不同，你就只能去问懂财务和accounting的前辈吧。e-business和e-commernce有一定的市场。当然你在国内有相关的经验，比一点都没有的一定强。毕竟每个公司的软件function都不一样。反正你就去多试，往自己强项上去努力。 |

好久没机会刷网了,今天帮助同行说两句.
我觉得近来QA的工作机会还是有的,运气是要有的.这运气我也不多说了,因为必定每个人真是不一样.就说说其他还可以补救的吧我赞成Tracy的观点,交流很重要.不过这方面既要自己平时努力但实话说不是短时间能提高的.所以做什么都要"扬长避短",说不过人家就用其他方式,比如可以用文字,图片等什么的.真要是说起来,那就自己什么方面最熟就说什么.当然这里基本的技术内容也要比较扎实. 其他的可能就是在实际的找工,准备简历,应付面试等话题了. 这以后慢慢说也成. 请见谅我这只是想起来的就写了,因为怕一些同志对我没及时回消息有意见,所以就想到什么写什么了.欢迎大家再讨论. |

感觉新概念，挺适合你的，那点学费对工作来说，不算什么，我没上过新概念，不过问过一些朋友，没一个说没用的，比那个free 的 870 co-op 对 专业来说，好的多 说白了，新概念的培训 不是强化结束，是强化resume 和 interview 的技术，面试时，别人问你的，你都大概能回答好，英文描述也会了，面试技巧也有了，再加运气和时日，能找不到工作吗 不是 Maria 的托，不过最近我也准备去上 J2EE 看不惯有些人，总说Maria忙着赚钱，或骗钱。真正的为华人社区做点力所能及的，有什么错，当然每个entreprenar 都是要赚钱的，business做大的，那才是社会进步的最原始动力， -资本主义社会 |
