草头股上飞, do you have any experience in Fx market? I don't quite understand what "保证金" means. But we have to use margin to place the order. Normally 100K order will only require $1000 as used margin. One pip increase will bring us $10. If the market fluctuate like last week, USAcAD increase from 1.33 to 1.35, it will bring us $2000 profit per lot. That's big profit while only need $1000 as investment. But be careful with the margin call, you will lose everything.

If I buy one lot of 100k currency, certainly I would not just deposit $1000 in my account. Assuming I deposit $8000 in my account, $1000 would be treated as Used Margin, the remaining $7000 would be useful margin. Let's buy USDCAD at today's rate 1.32. $7000 would be safe to ensure my account would not received margin call until rate drop to 1.25. As my knowelge, the USDCAD should not drop so much unless the market is crazy.

However, I can foresee the rate should increase sooner or later. As a result, if the rate jump from 1.32 to 1.40. I would earn $8000.

Theoretically, it is the market to earn the easy big money as long as the trend is foreseed correctly. Please let me know your idea or correction.

And I claim I have no experience about this market. I would like some experienced guys to share their knowelege with me. I realise, unlike the stock market, the Fx market is very complicated with risk and with wisdom.

** 很难说。我觉得外汇和(单个)股票还不太一样，一个大的趋势一旦形成短时间内很难逆转。美元继续下跌的趋势目前还没有变化(你可以看一下美元的weekly图)。USD/CAD能否继续跌到1.25？不是没有这个可能。其实只要跌倒1.27/1.28，你的心理就会发生变化，到时看着钱在缩水能否熬得住很难说。我劝你玩小一点，主要是用这些钱来学习，尽量少付出一些代价。外汇市场作为全球最大的投机市场，有很多重量级的trader参与，你一个新手一上来就想轻而易举赚钱，那是不现实的。天才有，但大多数人不是，都是不断地尝试，不断的失败，从失败中学习，最后才有成功。炒股炒汇的前提是要有启动资本，千万不要在学习的过程中把钱全部输光了。

当然具体玩多少，要根据各人的情况。最好是输了要心痛，赢了要心喜。太少输赢都无所谓，太多一下子就可能永远被wipe out，这都不行。

But I feel USD is going up, it is at the turning point. Maybe i am wrong.

Very nevous on Friday. Luckily got good news on the US labor report. However, USDCAD only increase by 70 pips. Next time, I should buy Eurusd, it increased 200 pips yesterday, much more active than cad. It shoot up 100 pips yesterday at good news just in one minute, really thrilling.

Anyway, I see USDCAD will go to 1.34 at least next week on expectation of CAD interest cut.

I see USDCAD 1.45 year-end on expectation of USD interest up.

If your account is self-directed it's a bit better because you control the transactions. But if you are familiar with finance, you'll know foreign exchange game is a zero sum game if no transaction fee is involved. With the fees involved, no matter how small they are, it's a "negative" sum game. I'm sure you've made quite a bit since you open the account, but one can not be always right and because foreign exchange is not backed by fundamentals, the chances of making money and losing money on average is 50-50. You don't have to believe me but I've only met people who have made money through commissions, not one through transactions. I doubt anyone who's studied finance would do it. But good luck.
