比如这次你1700 + 36利息,我就会付至少1800,而不是1736整,因为从银行划款过去一般还要2-3 business day,加上假期,周末,所以你要是只付1736,等你钱到了,已经变成1766,那30块钱就还会算你利息。所以你最好选个足够cover的上限,反正你下个月还要用,多付的钱就是卡上的credit. 他们每次都退给我了,包括interest charge, 有一次说不好退,说给我加5000 points还是多少。服务说不上多好。但哪家都差不多。有好有坏。是你自己的态度要polite BUT FIRM。碰到这种情况,坚决要求speak to supervisor. 最坏的结果无非是cancel. 信用卡多的是。 |

Most people have late payments couple of times. nothing to be panic about it. If i were op, I would just call up PC, asking speak to a supervisor directly. assuming that's op's first time. I would just ask this favor, "look, how many years I have been with you? I have always been a loyal customer and always pay ontime. would it be possible for you to adjust the late fee and interest charge as a one time favor?" It worked for me most of the time. if you throw in some creditable, nice excuse of being late, I'm sure she will cut you some slack. This aside, being late sometimes is NOT as bad as you might have always thought. the people credit card companies love most are not those always pay-full-in-time. they love people who being late, due to careless, mail problem etc etc, obviously not due to financial troubles, but who pay in full immediately when find out. Interest is what they get out of this late payment, which is almost a free cake for them. |
