折腾一天，终于把IGO运行起来了。谢谢ITExpert！

昨天的确是把休眠开关当成重启开关了，当时发现了这个问题。但是后面更多的时间放在了组织文件目录上。文件的目录放得不对，一直不能正确运行IGO。现在成功后，我的一些目录安排和帖子上的略有不同，回头还是要整理一下。

我现在用得AsusP...

最近的MioPocket有个很有用的功能，就是你初次点iGO图标时，如果你的iGO不在其缺省路径上的话，它会提示让你选择正确的路径，然后会保存下来。而且还有新增加的Icon Edit模式。

装了最新版，强多了。还在体验其中的功能。谢谢！

现在感觉，要是有中文版就更好，可以浏览中文文件以及装个字典什么的。

不太明白这东西，俺就想买个能在加拿大和美国用的，将来还能免费的下载新地图的GPS，大家有好的建议买那款的好呢

安装成功了，但在R600里找不到相应的程序。

R600是否支持TMC功能？我用iGo中的TMC选项没有找到TMC功能啊。

No, the CE star I download need to be installed from PC. when installing, no prompt of selecting a folder. any clues? thanks.

TMC needs hardware support. R600 doesn't have TMC hardware.

You need to have Microsoft ActiveSync (downloadable from MS website) on your PC. When installing a CE application from your PC, ActiveSync will ask you where on the mobile device (can be GPS or other mobile devices) you want to install the application on. You can then choose Storage Card or SDMMC, which stands for the SD card on your mobile device. ActiveSync actually will store the files on somewhere in your PC. Next time when you plug your GPS to your PC, ActiveSync will show you a list of cached applications and ask you if you want to install the cached application to your mobile device. Then normally on your GPS, you'll see a prompt asking you which directory you want to install on your SD card.

Not sure why but I'm having trouble with the connection between my R600 and ActiveSync now. It worked before but all of a sudden my PC in my office says "unrecognized device" when I plug in my R600. Then I went home and installed ActiveSync on my PC and it worked for a while. But next time I plugged in the GPS at home, it had the same problem too. Kind of very annoying because I won't be able to install some applications in the future. but because it's from Dell.ca, it's inconvenient to exchange it.

Let me know if you have the same problem.

I had Act Sync and launch it before installation. I select to install it onto SD card. After press 'start', no more action required till the end of installation, neither on GPS.

As to the trouble with the connection, I had it too. What I did was to reboot the R600 after the GPS connected with PC and the Act Sync launched. Everytime after reboot, the connection was ok. I'm not sure if it was the same problem you had.

I think I have a different problem with my R600. It's not recognized by computers at all no matter how I reboot it.

Sorry I can't help with you now. Maybe later when I have some time I'll try installing CE Star on my old MIO C220 to see what happen.

I can't find any omni-tech even at edmonton. the new one maybe will come at christmas, one　staffer of staples told me that.

No. The USB port of R600 is only for charging. We had built up “SD card reader” function in new model (E.g R300, R700)
