来Victoria不去Butchart Gardens就好象去北京没去故宫一样.
Butchart Gardens是Victoria最著名的花园. 中文名是宝翠花园. 中文网站http://www.butchartgardens.com/lang/chinese.php. 上面有具体的开放时间和入场费用.

据旅行团介绍, 这个花园原本是个私人的矿场. 开采完了之后主人才把这里改建成花园的. 主人一向喜欢收集各地的各种花草, 后来就把她收集到的花卉全都种植在了这里, 所以这里也是植物学家们亲睐的地方. 我觉得这里也可以叫做植物园吧. Butchart Gardens花草数目众多. 春夏之际盛开的花卉尤其多. 春季有数以万计的郁金香杜娟水仙樱花盛开, 有各种你想不到的颜色的花, 整个花园简直就是花的海洋. 夏季的盛开的花种类繁多, 我说不上都是什么花, 以前都没见过. 夏季的花尤以玫瑰园最著名. 晚上还有音乐喷泉表演. 秋季有芍药海棠还有枫树. Butchart Gardens有个日本花园, 装饰和植物都是纯日本风格. 秋季日本园是最漂亮的地方. 冬季有室内花卉展出, 还有美丽的灯饰. Butchart Gardens分有很多个区, 每个区都有特别的花卉植物. 前面提到的花卉区日本区还有樱花区玫瑰园欧洲花园喷泉等等等等.

Butchart Gardens出口还有个商店, 有各种跟花有关的纪念品卖还有花卉的种子卖呢.

Butchart Gardens不在市区, 它座落在Victoria的北面. 如果来旅游的话可以先游Victoria, 然后再去Butchart Gardens.
