PRICING ANALYST – PRICE OPTIMIZATION
CALGARY CORPORATE OFFICE

The Pricing Department has an opening for a Pricing Analyst – Price Optimization.

Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated;

• Business/Economics degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of data manipulation tools (Access, Excel, QMF)
• Strong financial analysis and statistical skills
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced presentation (Power Point) skills
• Strong detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
• High degree of initiative and results orientation

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Develop models for forecasting consumer demand
• Develop and implement pricing strategies using demand elasticity, category management strategies and competitive response
• Design and implement pricing initiatives
• Develop and track financial targets as they relate to pricing initiatives and pricing strategies
• Assist in store segmentation strategy and implementation
• Develop and present concepts and recommendations to broad audiences including marketing, category management, finance and senior management
• Data gathering, manipulation, and interpretation for management




Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
