目前我的 Over draft (支票帐户)，只有$500。
打电话要求增加，对方说Credit bureau 只给这么多。奇怪，我的信用卡有$8000的额度，Over draft (支票帐户)为何不能多。

这个东西我觉着没什么意义，凡是用钱稍微有点计划的人都不大可能把checking account里的钱用成负数的，何况日常大多数场合是用信用卡，大额的使用checking account只是在付账单的时候。

Over Draft Credit share the same credit with your Visa, so if you use up the credit in your Visa, then you won't have more for your Over Draft.

You may call the bank to lower your Visa Credit and reapply the Over Draft again.

You have been fooled by your bank. Credit is given by your bank, not credit bureau. But bank makes its decision based on your credit rating reported by the credit bureau.

A proper amount of over draft is the amount that is just enough to cover your largest payment, such as rent or mortgage payment. $500 is a little too low. Try $1000.

在银行职员的劝说下接受了1500 的OVERDRAFT PROTECTION, 放下电话又觉得好象要了没啥意义, 如果不用还得交每个月的月费2圆.要取消它吗?

Actually, I prefer Line of Credit than Over Draft, since the interest will be more lower and no monthly fee.
